Irish Wolfhound

aka Wolfhoundaka Cu Faoilaka The Gentle Giant of Ireland
"The tallest dog breed in the world, carrying the whole history of Ireland in those amber eyes."
Ancient. Gentle. Genuinely enormous.

The Story Behind the Breed

The Irish Wolfhound is the tallest dog breed in the world. The first written record comes from Rome in 391 AD, when the Roman consul wrote that all Rome viewed them with wonder. Ancient, shaggy, impossibly tall, and remarkably gentle.

"Ancient. Gentle. Genuinely enormous."
